I'm a Single Mom & a Widow. After Getting COVID, I Can't Cover Our Rent!

My Story:

I am a loving mother of two wonderful boys. We love nature, stargazing, animals, and bike riding. My oldest enjoys building computers while my youngest loves sports. I work full-time as a Construction Manager, and I like my job a lot. I enjoy making the world a safer and better place!

Life became very difficult for my family after we lost my husband two years ago. I've been doing the best that I can to stay positive and to continue raising my children, but it's been difficult as a single mother. I earn just enough to pay for our basic expenses every month, but we tend to live paycheck to paycheck every month. We have no savings set aside at all because I just can't get ahead yet after my husband's passing. Last year, our family vehicle broke down, and then right after I got a new one for us, we were in a serious car accident that totaled the vehicle just 4 months later. Since then, I've been struggling to get us a new vehicle, but right now, we have even more pressing concerns. COVID caused me to miss a few weeks of work after I got sick and after my children got sick. Now, we're behind on our rent and need urgent assistance to get caught up please.

I'm two months behind on our rent, and without assistance, we're going to be evicted. My children and I don't have anywhere to go, and we would have to go to a shelter. The past two years have been difficult for us, and I've struggled to rebuild, but this assistance would be one major step back towards stability for us. We would be deeply appreciative of this assistance, and I promise that we will always cherish it.
