I'm Trying to Renew My Lease, but a Medical Bill Caused Me To Come Up Short on Rent! Please Help!
My Story:
I'm an unmarried woman, and I live on my own. Currently, I work for a non-profit organization providing financial help for homebuyers, who need a little extra to cover the down payment and closing costs for homebuyers. Throughout this season, I've been blessed to be a part of this amazing organization, helping others who would not have been able to purchase without the funds that were provided. I can honestly say, the opportunity that I have to serve has been rewarding, but I too have now fallen into a difficult situation that I was not able to find the resources to lift myself out of.
A medical issue forced me to have surgery, and while I was able to cover the bill, I had to do so at the expense of paying my rent. My rental contract is ending, but I can't cover what I owe for this month, and I'm worried that my lease won't be renewed. I have been able to cover part of the balance that I owe but not all of it. I very much want to renew my lease and stay in my home, so I'm humbly asking for urgent assistance to cover the remaining balance that I owe.
Thanks to this support I would be able to renew my lease without any hassle, and I'll be able to keep my home for the foreseeable future. Most important of all though, I'll be able to refocus my efforts on my work so that I can continue to serve my community and the people who rely on us most. Thank you to everyone who lends me a much-needed hand with my remaining rental balance.
