I'm Caring for My Grandchild on a Fixed Income. Please Help Us Repair Our Car!
My Story:
I'm a single mother, and while my only child has grown up and moved out, they've been having some personal and financial hardships, so I'm caring for one of my grandchildren. I love my family, and I love to spend time with my family, so I'm happy to have my grandchild with me. While I am mostly retired, I do work part-time in order to supplement my income.
Even though I work part-time, we do live on a fixed income for the most part, so it's difficult to deal with unexpected expenses like the one we're currently dealing with. My car recently stopped working, and it turns out that it needs major repairs. However, I can't afford to repair it while living on a fixed income. Furthermore, I've been out of work due to illness for a few weeks now, and I'm really worried that when I'm cleared to return, I won't be able to because my car is stuck in the repair shop.
I'm very humbly asking for help with getting our vehicle repaired so that I can return to work without hardship. It would also allow me to better care for my grandchild, and it will make it a lot easier to keep up with my healthcare as well. Thank you all in advance for this assistance, and I promise to pay it forward when we are back on our feet.
