I'm a Single Mother Struggling to Cover Our Car Payment After Losing My Part-Time Job! Please Help!

My Story:

I am a single mom that works as a security officer. My 7-year-old is a child is full of enthusiasm and energy. He loves to watch and play video games that teach him about sharing and caring. My job is very interesting and challenging, but I really enjoy the work that I do. Most of the time though, I'm used to working two jobs; however, I had to stop doing that as a result of a injury that I sustained a few years ago.

Recently, I tried to return to working a part-time job so that I could put my son and I in a better position financially. However, I was only able to work for two weeks, as the conditions in the facility were so bad. Even without that job, I was able to manage and keep up with our bills. Then, I got very sick with the flu and missed a few weeks of work. As a result, my paycheck for this month is going to be a lot smaller than normal, and without income from another job, I don't have any savings to fall back on. I'm going to come up short on my car payment this month, and we'll lose our only means to get back and forth from work and school if that happens.

I'm very humbly asking for assistance with my car payment so that I can keep my job and stay up to date with my other bills. I've already returned to work, but if we lose our vehicle, I won't be able to work and keep our heads above water. In terms of trying to make our situation better, I'm trying to find another part-time job, but I won't be able to collect a paycheck in time to cover our car payment. As a single mother, I would be so appreciative of this help, and I promise that I will pay it forward to another struggling single parent when I have the chance.
