We're Behind on Our Car Note After a Period of Unemployment! Please Help Us Catch Up!

My Story:

I am a married father of three, one girl and two boys. My oldest daughter is very artistic, loves dancing, and is in her gifted-and-talented program at school! My middle son is very happy and energetic, and he struggles with high-functioning autism. He's made such great improvements, and he's now in kindergarten and is excelling! My youngest is a very bright and sweet little boy with too much energy, and he has gorgeous golden curls. I am recently employed as a Solar Specialist, and my wife works from home in the export business, so she's able to watch our youngest while I'm at work.

My wife and I have almost always lived paycheck to paycheck, but this year was difficult. We were both unemployed for most of the year, so we are still behind on bills and working hard to catch up. On top of that, our daughter was recently diagnosed with epilepsy, so we have new medical bills to pay. Even though we're employed now, what we make isn't enough to cover monthly expenses and get caught up on past due bills. This has put us in the difficult position where we have to pick and choose what bills to pay, and around the holidays, that's especially difficult for our family. We have fallen behind on our car payment, and I'm worried that our car is going to be repossessed just after the new year begins.

My wife and I are very humbly asking for assistance with our car payment so that we can keep our vehicle, as we use it for almost everything we do throughout the day. This assistance would give us some much-needed breathing room going into the new year. My new job is mostly commission-based and those commissions take a while to get paid on, so this will give us the time we need for the income we need to start rolling in. Our hope is that we will start pulling ahead in a few months when my commission starts to come in. In the meantime, we would be deeply appreciative of this assistance, and I promise we will look for ways to pay it forward in the near future.
