I Just Passed the BAR & I'm Trying to Find Work! In the Meantime I Need Help Keeping My Internet On!

My Story:

I am a 26-year old young woman living on my own. I recently passed the BAR exam and have been sworn in as an attorney. My passions are Family Law and Child Advocacy, but I have not secured a job in my field of interest as of yet. I am a determined and hard-working individual who enjoys giving to and advocating for others. I enjoy listening to music and writing blogs about fashion in my free time. I also have a shih tzu named Giselle who I love very much.

I began working as a paralegal after law school because I did not have the money to apply for and take the BAR exam. My paralegal salary has not been able to keep up with inflation, and I have been living check to check as a result. In May of 2022, I applied for the BAR exam and accumulated fees of approximately $1,000. Because I was living check-to-check, I was unable to save for the test. I stepped out on faith and applied and scraped together the money so that I could start my career as an attorney and get into a better position financially. This set me behind on other bills and I have been trying to catch up ever since.

While I'm thrilled that I passed the BAR, I still do not have an attorney job, and I'm trying to play catch up while on my paralegal salary. I also changed contracting companies with my job and went from getting paid weekly to monthly. This switch was out of my control, and it has been hard transitioning to monthly pay. My first check was not even a whole paycheck because the switch happened at the end of September, so my October check was only for one week. As a result, it's been very difficult to keep up with all of my bills, and I'm stuck behind on my internet bill.

I'm humbly asking for assistance with catching up on this internet bill because I need it to keep my job. I work from home a lot of the time and need to be in touch with my job. Without internet, I'll struggle to do that effectively. Furthermore, this would free up more of my income to go towards other bills that I'm behind on. I am confident that I will start an attorney job soon, but I still need help in the meantime, so I would be very grateful for this act of generosity.
