After a Gap in Employment Due to COVID, We're 3 Months Behind on Rent & Need Help!

My Story:

I am a single mother of two kids. My 12-year-old daughter is very creative and loves to make paper dragon puppets. My 10-year-old son is very active and loves Karate. Both kids love to help take care of all our animals, and believe me, there are a lot of them! I work full-time as an office coordinator at a non-profit organization that helps individuals with disabilities with finding jobs and assisting kids with receiving therapy.

When COVID hit, I had to quit my job and stay home with my kids. It was a rough couple of years. I did receive unemployment for a little while, but it didn't last long. As the time went by, I became more and more behind on my bills. Then, finally everything started to get back to normal, the kids went back to school, and I found this wonderful job. Still, I am still trying to catch up as much as I can, but I am really behind on our lot rent.

I am currently 3 months behind on our rent because I could not afford to pay it at the time, and I just cannot catch up. My lot won't take anything but the full amount, so my efforts to pay towards our balance in order to stave off eviction have failed. Now, my family is about to be evicted from our lot, so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with catching up. With this assistance, we'll be able to keep our home and recover fully from this short-term hardship. I'm already working again, and I can keep up with all of our bills going forward. Thank you all for this very generous assistance, and I promise that we will do our best to pay it forward in the near future.
