I'm Pregnant & Need Help Getting Our Only Vehicle Repaired Please!
My Story:
I am a single mother with a wonderful daughter at home and with another one on the way! My daughter, Piper, is 3 years old, and I am currently 19 weeks pregnant with another girl. My daughter is very excited to have a little sister on the way. I work full-time in a medical billing department, but my current pregnancy is considered high-risk, so I've been on limited hours at my job.
I am currently pregnant with my second child and am high risk. I am having to miss work for both doctors' appointments and for experiencing severe symptoms. My car is currently in the shop, as I accidentally backed it into a post. We are getting into the cold months, and we really need my car for us to be able to safely get to and from work and my daughter's daycare. However, after missing work and after already receiving medical bills due to my pregnancy, I don't have the means to afford these much needed repairs, so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with that expense.
My car is severely damaged on the driver's side and is unusable as a result. As I said, we rely on it for everything and are struggling to get by without our only vehicle. I am scared that I am having to choose between paying rent or paying to get my car fixed which I need to be able to get to and from both work and doctors' appointments over an hour away from home as well as have transportation for my daughter to get to and from daycare while I work. However, if we're able to get our vehicle repaired, it will give us the leg up that we need in this difficult time, and it will keep us financially stable as we await the arrival of my unborn daughter.
