This person has left the following thank you note:

User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you. I was so genuinely worried that I would end up losing my job and be unable to continue in school without getting my car fixed that I had been losing sleep from the stress. I know, like me, most of you probably aren't super well off, but every little bit you offered genuinely brought me so much relief that even my simple thank you feels inadequate. You all have reminded me of how far the kindness of a stranger will reach and it has helped me to get back some of that hope that had been dwindling on my end. Once again, thank you, so very very much. May the winds of blessing reach out to each and every one of you for this kindness. - Tierany

I'm Struggling to Repair My Only Vehicle While Also Putting Myself Through School! Please Help!

My Story:

I am a full time college student studying art history and anthropology and I work full-time at Starbucks to try to help offset the costs of school. I adore art, music, old movies, and reading new books! My goal, when I'm done with school, is to work at, and continue my studies through, the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

I earn enough to cover the costs of student loans, my car payment, groceries, and my phone and internet bills, if barely. My aunt passed this last month and the savings I had I put towards helping to pay for her funeral with the rest of my family. Unfortunately, my brakes just went out on my car, and I just don't have the money to cover for the repairs after. It's my only means of transportation, and I desperately need help to get my car back in working order.

I'm very humbly asking for this assistance so that I can continue to go to work and pay for school. I've already missed some work due to my brakes being out, and I'm having to try and rely on others for rides to and from work, which is not always reliable. I'm afraid if I miss more work, I could potentially lose my job. However, with this help, I will be able to get back on my feet and continue to work at my job, which in turn enables me to continue paying for my schooling and other costs needed for living. Additionally, once I'm more financially stable, I'd love to pay it forward to help others as well. Thank you!
