I'm a Single Father Struggling to Catch Up on Our Electric Bill After a Surgery! Please Help.

My Story:

I'm a single father of two wonderful kids. My oldest is my 10-year-old daughter who is very creative. She loves arts and crafts, and she's always working on one project or another. Her brother, my youngest, is 6 years old, and he loves to play with our family dog more than anything. They could play fetch together for hours! As for myself, I work hard to support my children, and I love what I do too. I've been working on cars for a very long time, and I've been a licensed mechanic for over 20 years now.

I earn enough to pay for our basic expenses every month, but we tend to live paycheck to paycheck. I had no savings set aside when I had to undergo surgery on my arm. I was out of work for almost two weeks, but beyond that, the medical bills from my surgery have cut into our monthly budget. Now, we're in an unexpected financial bind, and I've had to sacrifice paying our electric bill for months now in order to keep all of our other bills current. As a result, we're very far behind, and we're going to have our power shut-off very soon if we can't get caught up.

For months now, I've had to sacrifice our utility bill to cover our rent and my medical bills, but now, that's caught up to us, and we need help. I'm humbly asking for assistance with getting this electric bill current so that we can get caught up and keep our lights on. We've finally hit the point where we're able to keep up with our electric bill, but we need help if we're going to get all the way caught up. Truly, we would be very appreciative of this assistance, and I promise that my children and I will use this act of generosity as inspiration to lend a hand to others in turn. Thank you.
