My Landlord Gave Me 30 Days to Move After Selling My Unit! Please Help Me Afford Movers.

My Story:

I'm a single 30-year-old woman, and I live on my own. I have a tremendous passion for fashion and for helping people, and I volunteer most of my free time to those two passions. However, due to the hardship that I've been faced with as of late, I haven't been able to fully focus on those two things.

Towards the beginning of 2022, I lost my job and became unemployed for an extended period of time. By the grace of God, I was able to receive unemployment payments for a few months, and then in May, I was blessed with a job. Still, because of the gap in employment that I was dealing with, I fell behind on a lot of my bills. It took a long time to catch up, but right as I was on the verge of getting caught up again, my landlord informed me that they had sold my unit. Now, I've been given 30 days to leave my home and find a new one. My landlord has shown absolutely no remorse or regard for my situation, and I've tried to work with them to see if I could get my security deposit back early in order to put that towards a new home but with no luck. Despite their unwillingness to work with me, I have found a new home and put the necessary deposits down; however, I don't have enough left over to cover the cost of movers. I'm worried that I'm going to have to leave my belongings behind when I move, so I'm urgently and humbly asking for assistance with hiring movers.

With this help, I'll be able to make the transition into my new home without losing a lot of or all of my belongings. It's been a difficult past 30 days, but this assistance would finally allow me to put all of this hardship behind me, and for that I would be very grateful to all of the kind and generous people who help me afford movers.
