Thanks everyone who has helped me. Since I�ve became a mom so much has been put on my plate I get so overwhelmed and down. Then with the abuse of my sons father took a lot on my health for so long. Now that I�m finally free I�ve been making it work all on my own and sometimes it gets extremely hard but I make things work. I spent the last couple of months overwhelmed ready to give up but thanks to everybody help my journey to happiness and healing can continue . I can provide can continue to provide a better lifestyle for me and my son. This means the world to me knowing people didn�t have to help me but did I mean it from the bottom of my heart I�m so grateful and god bless every last one of you .
We're About to Lose Our Power After Fleeing Abuse! Please Help!
My Story:
I'm a single mother with a 4-year-old that just started Pre-K. My son loves doing activities and seeing his family. I work full-time as a dental assistant, and I have been doing that for about 6 years now. I just started working at new clinic after relocating to Maryland, and I enjoy the new position a lot.
I moved to Maryland in order to put some distance between myself and my son's abusive father. He doesn't support us at all, and to be honest, we're afraid of him due to the abuse that we suffered. After moving, I had trouble finding a new job for a couple of months, and I'm struggling to get on my feet again. That gap in employment was a lot longer than I had expected, so we've fallen behind on our electric bill as a result. Now, we're just weeks away from having our power shut-off and need urgent assistance.
Everything has fallen on my shoulders, and I'm doing the best that I can for my son, but after moving and after leaving his father due to abuse, we're struggling to get on our feet in our new home. I'm very worried about what will happen if we have our lights shut-off. So, before that happens, I'm very humbly asking for assistance with our electric bill. This would be a huge boost for me and my son, and we would be very grateful for the assistance that we receive with this bill. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who lends us a hand with this.
