Please Help Us Pay Off Our Furnance Before We Have to Choose Between Heat and Our Home!
My Story:
My wife and I have three beautiful daughters (twins who are 9 years old, and another who is 6). I work full-time for the county library, and my wife is taking classes toward her undergraduate degree and recently took on a part-time job.
Our furnace died last April, and because it was still cold in Michigan, we had no choice but to replace it immediately. Because we didn't have the money to replace the furnace, we replaced the furnace using a 12-month no-interest financing agreement, but even the minimum payments are a major burden right now. I don't see any way that we're going to be able to pay for the furnace in full by our deadline in April, and if we miss that deadline (which we will), we'll instantly see an additional $522 worth of interest added to an already overwhelming monthly bill
We've reached out to friends, to family, and cut everything we can out of our budget, but we just can't find a way to pay off this furnace. If we end up in a position where interest is added to the bill, we won't be able to pay our mortgage. We're financially responsible and have never been in this position before, but we honestly don't know what to do. But if Modest Needs could please help us pay off this furnace, you'd be guaranteeing that we'd be both warm and housed this winter. Thank you for any help you can offer.
