I'm a Veteran & Single Mother. Please Help Me Keep My Only Vehicle!
My Story:
I'm a US Army veteran, and I'm also a single mother with an awesome 2-year-old daughter. She loves anything related to Disney, and she loves to play at the park whenever she has the chance to. After leaving the military, I started working part-time as an early childhood education teacher, and I really enjoy the work that I've been doing.
While I earn enough to pay our rent and other bills, I don't have much to rely on in case of an emergency, and we live paycheck to paycheck most of the time. I caught COVID-19 at the end of January 2022, and after missing a lot of work, I'm still struggling to catch up on some of our bills, but the most pressing one is my car payment. All in all, I missed an entire pay period, and that's completely crippled us financially. Since January, I've been robbing Peter to pay Paul, so to speak, and I can't get on top of all of my bills without assistance. My biggest concern is with my car payment because I'm a few months behind on that bill, and I'm dangerously close to having our vehicle taken away.
For months now, I've had to pick and choose what bills I can and can't pay, and now the situation has reached its apex. I'm about to lose my car, so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with catching up on my car payment. Not only will I be able to keep my car and keep going to work, but I'll finally be able to get financially stable again. I won't have to pick and choose what bills to pay each month, and I can focus on rebuilding our savings to better deal with emergencies like this one. In the meantime, I want to thank everyone who assists us with this car payment, and I want to also promise to repay the generosity we're shown. Truly, I would be grateful for the opportunity to pay it forward because I believe that it's important that people continue to feel the difference that others make in their lives, regardless of creed, color or religion.
