I want to take this time to say thank you to all of the donors who made this funding possible. I didnt know what I was going to do or how I was going to be able to make my car payment and car insurance payment with my hours being reduced and the layoff. I have been so affraid that the car was going to be taken back by the bank. Now, Thanks to Modest Needs and all of the wonderful donors those fears are gone and I can make my payments and keep my car. I am so Thankful to Modest Needs and to all of the donors. A COVID Outbreak Reduced My Hours, & I Need Help Keeping My Car Please!
My Story:
I'm a single man living on my own, and I work full-time to support myself. Currently, I'm employed by an eye-care company, and I work as a sales associate for them. Most of the time I enjoy my job, and it's usually given me enough income to get by from month to month, but I do tend to live paycheck to paycheck. However, a recent COVID outbreak at my job has caused a huge reduction in hours among the staff, and it really cut into my income.
When the outbreak began and my hours were reduced, I fell behind on my car payment, and I haven't been able to catch up since then. Even though the outbreak seems to be over and my hours have been restored for the most part, I'm still stuck trying to catch up on my car payment. I'm afraid that it's going to be repossessed in just a matter of weeks, so I'm humbly seeking assistance with catching up.
Like I said, my hours are mostly back to normal, and I've even started to look for part-time work, but I'm not going to be able to catch up in time to keep my vehicle from being repossessed. However, with this generous assistance, I'll be able to keep my car, keep my hours up at work, and most important of all, I'll be able to remain self-sufficient for the foreseeable future. Thank you all in advance for this help, and I will never forget it.
