Pneumonia & My Child's Health Issues Have Kept Me Out Of Work. Please Help Us Keep Our Home!
My Story:
I am a single mother of three beautiful daughters. My youngest is 2.5 years old and loves dinosaurs, reading and playing kitchen. My 9-year-old loves cheerleading, playing with Barbies, and making bracelets for friends and family. My oldest is 11 years old and loves soccer, playing video games and doing crafts. We have two cats at home, Lola and Coco, and we love spending time with both of them. My children mean the world to me, and the last year has been very difficult for us, but we've been there for each other through it all.
My children and I have been struggling ever since I first filed for divorce/protective orders last June. Since then, I've had to find a new job that will allow me to also take care of my children, as my previous position would often refuse me leave to even just pick my kids up from school. On top of that, I have been struggling with respiratory issues, as has my youngest. I've had pneumonia twice in the past four months, and my doctors are very worried about me. My youngest has been struggling with respiratory and stomach issues on and off for the last few months as well. Their medical issues and mine have kept me out of work for long periods of time lately, and now I'm struggling to keep up with all of our bills.
Most important of all of our bills is our rent, and so, I'm seeking assistance with catching up on that. We're about a month behind as a result of the work that I've missed, and I'm worried that if we continue to stay behind, we'll lose our home. I'm working again, so I'll be able to keep up with our bills, and I also finally got a court date set to take my ex to court for unpaid child support payments. I'm hopeful for my family's future, and I know that with this assistance, we'll have a brighter path ahead of us.
