My Car is Sitting in a Repair Shop, so I Can't Work & Provide for My Kids! Please Help!

My Story:

I'm a single mother of three beautiful children, ages 1, 10 and 13 years old. My kids are very energetic, well-mannered and very respectful. They are my entire world, and I work very hard for them. Since I graduated high school, I have always worked in a hospital setting. However, when the pandemic began, I was temporarily laid-off, but then as time went by, it became clear that the lay-off was going to be permanent, so I started to look for other work. Since then, I have been working full-time hours and driving for Doordash and other delivery companies. Most of the time, I have enough to get by and to give my children everything they need, but a recent issue with my vehicle is threatening my livelihood and my family.

My car broke down about two weeks ago, and it's been sitting in a repair shop ever since then. I tried to finance the repairs myself, but I live paycheck to paycheck and don't have the means to afford the repairs I need to make on my own. Right now, I can't even work because I can't do Doordash deliveries without my vehicle. We're starting to fall behind on almost everything, and I'm struggling to even put food on the table. For the sake of my children, I'm asking for assistance with repairing our vehicle.

Right now, our vehicle is the only means that I have of making a living for my family, so this assistance is crucial for my family's long-term stability. Simply put, if I can get back on the road, I can continue to provide for my children. Thank you in advance to all of the kind and generous people who lend us a hand with these repairs.
