We Sacrificed Our Electric Bill to Repair Our Only Vehicle! Please Help Us Keep Our Lights On!
My Story:
I'm a father of three step-children, and I love them all like they're my own. They're all teenagers, and like most kids their age, they love video games and hanging out with friends. Right now, they're all out of school for the summer, so my wife has been staying home to look after them. My wife and one of our sons have thyroid issues that they receive treatment for, and those issues have kept my wife out of work and at home caring for the children. As a result, I'm the only one receiving an income in our household, and while I do work full-time, we live paycheck to paycheck.
Because we live check to check, we don't have enough to get by when an unexpected expense or an emergency comes up. With my son and wife having health problems, those can come up fairly often, but this time the issue is with our vehicle. Our car felt a little off, so we decided to take it into a mechanic's shop, and they told us that we needed to replace the valve cover and the crankshaft seal. Altogether, that cost us a couple of hundred dollars, and now we aren't going to be able to make our bills for this month. For that reason, I'm humbly asking for assistance with our electric bill for this month.
We rely on our vehicle for everything from grocery shopping to getting my wife and son to their doctor's appointments, so we had to get the repairs done to keep it on the road. However, now we have to pick and choose what bills to pay, and I'm afraid it's going to wind up with us losing our electricity. Yet, with this help, we'll be able to keep our lights on, and I'm hopeful that we can get back to a point where we're not having to pick and choose what bills we can and can't pay. We will find a way to repay the generosity we're shown, and my family would like to thank everyone who assists us with this bill.
