My Fiance is Out of Work, & I Just Returned to Work. Please Help Us Keep Our Lights On!
My Story:
My fiance and I have a soon to be 1-year-old daughter together. I'm a part-time CNA and student, and my fiance is a stay-at-home dad right now. He was working part-time until recently when our car broke down, leaving him unable to travel to the job sites that he works at. Eventually, we just decided that it would be more cost effective to have him stay home with our daughter instead of paying for childcare. Still, he's working on finding a job that will allow him to do both. When I'm not working or doing schoolwork, I love to spend quality time with my daughter and fiance, as well as our dog, Thor.
I've only recently been able to find a steady job after losing my last one due to COVID, and with my fiance out of work as well, we started to fall behind on a lot of our bills as a result. Even though I'm working again, we're still catching up on everything, and I'm worried we're not going to be able to catch up in time. Right now, we're behind on our electric bill, and we're facing an imminent shut-off if we can't get current on it soon.
We just don't have enough coming in right now for us to catch up on our electric bill and keep up with our other bills. It's only a matter of weeks before we have our power shut-off, so I'm humbly asking for assistance with catching up on our electric bill before that happens. With this support, we'll be able to keep our lights on, pay our bills on time, and we can start focusing on getting my fiance's vehicle fixed so he can find some part-time work while caring for our daughter. I want to thank everyone who helps us in advance for your generous support, and I promise that my family will work hard to pay this forward as soon as possible.
