I Missed 3 Months of Work due to COVID. I'm Out of Work Again & Need Help Keeping My Car!

My Story:

I work full-time at a doctor's office to support myself, and I proudly serve my community by assisting under-served populations. We specialize in giving traditionally overlooked communities access to preventative healthcare. I love my job, and I have enjoyed doing what I do, even through the pandemic. When I'm not working, I love spending my free time doing DIY and craft projects, and I also do a lot of event planning and decor.

Despite being an essential worker, I did miss a lot of time at work during the pandemic. I have had COVID on two separate occasions, and it took me a long time to recover from the first one. In fact, it took me almost three months to get back to working again. Now, I'm out of work with COVID again, and I'm only receiving half pay while I wait to return to work. I drained my savings to stay afloat the first time, and now I'm stuck choosing between my bills. I had to cover my rent somehow, so my car payment has gone unpaid for a few months now. I rely on my car for everything, and I'm wheelchair bound, so it's extremely important for me to have a vehicle.

Without assistance, my vehicle will be repossessed in just a matter of weeks. For that reason, I'm asking for urgent assistance with catching up on my car payments so that I don't lose my vehicle. Without my car I can't work, but more importantly, it's really dangerous for me to not have personal transportation. I haven't ever faced a situation like this before, but I know that I can make it through this if my car payments are caught up. I would be deeply appreciative of this assistance, and I promise that I will do my best to pay it forward as soon as I return to work and get back on my feet.
