I'm Battling Cancer & Need Help Keeping Our Phones & Internet On Please!

My Story:

I'm battling Leukemia as I do my best to raise my wonderful 16-year-old daughter. She's the light of my life, and she's been such a huge support to me as I battle cancer. Her dream is to be a doctor, and she want to go to Johns Hopkins University. She's always looking for ways to help me and to help others in general, and I really couldn't be prouder of her.

Currently, I'm not working due to my battle with Leukemia and the treatment that I'm receiving. While receiving treatment for cancer, it's important that I remain isolated and healthy in order to avoid complications with my treatment. So, I can't work currently, and while I'm earning short-term disability, I'm not able to keep up with my bills. Without enough coming in, I need help if I'm going to be able to cover all of our bills for the month. My biggest concern is with our phone and internet bills, as both are just weeks away from being shut-off.

I'm seeking help with these two bills because both services are very important for my family. It's the only way my daughter can continue to do her schoolwork effectively, and without our phone or internet service, I could be out of a job when I'm able to work again. While I'm confident that I can beat cancer and make a recovery, I'm worried about the financial situation that we're going to find ourselves in after the fact. However, with this assistance, we'll be in a much better place financially, and I'll be able to recover and get back to work without being so far behind.
