I just can't thank you enough. I am so humbled to know that good people who help others do still exist and this is a perfect example for my children. My son said, 'We will make sure that we help others as well.' I believe you get what you give and may you be blessed for helping us.

We're Recovering from Homelessness & Need Help Catching Up on a Gas Bill Please!

My Story:

I'm a single mother of four, I work full-time, and I'm also attending school to obtain my bachelor's degree. My oldest is my 16-year-old daughter, and she's an excellent student who is getting prepared to go to college when she graduates high school. My two middle children are my twin sons who are also in talented and gifted classes. My youngest son is 12 years old, and he's very active and loves playing sports. I have always worked hard to give my children a good life, and while we've struggled through the pandemic, it feels like we're finally close to getting on track again.

We were homeless at one point of the pandemic, but I fought hard to bring us back from that hardship. I managed to find us a new home, and I got a new full-time position that has allowed me to earn enough to provide for my family again. However, we're still recovering from the pandemic and from losing our home, and even with my new job, it's been difficult for us to get caught up on everything again. I've managed to catch up on our rent and to stay current with it, but we're still behind on some other bills. I thought I would be able to catch up on our gas bill in time to avoid having it shut off, but then I had to pay for some much-needed vehicle repairs instead. Now, we're still behind on our gas bill, and we're close to having it shut-off.

Without our gas, we won't be able to use our stove, our heat, or have hot water. It would make our lives very difficult, but beyond that, it would also be really expensive to have it turned back on. So, I'm very humbly asking for assistance with this bill because if we're able to have our gas bill taken care of, we'll finally be able to recover from the pandemic and from losing our old home. Getting current with this bill would give us the stability that we need, and I can finally start putting my children's needs above our bills and what we need to just survive from day to day. We would very much appreciate this generous assistance, and as a mother, I want to thank everyone who helps us for the longstanding impact your assistance will have on my children's lives.
