I Was Hospitalized Twice Last Year & Had My Pay Cut. Please Help Me Keep My Car & Electricity!

My Story:

I'm living on my own, and I work full-time as a librarian. My love of my job goes hand in hand with my love of reading, and I'm really glad that I get to wake up and do something that I love each and every day. In addition to my job, I enjoy spending time with my family; however, I haven't been able to do that as much as I'd like over the past few years because of COVID. Being on my own and supporting myself has been difficult to do during the pandemic, but I was managing my situation pretty well until recently.

Around this time last year, I was hospitalized twice. The first time was because of an improper injection of the COVID vaccine and the adverse reaction that I had to it. The second time was because I was experiencing epileptic seizures, after which my doctor promptly diagnosed me with epilepsy. After being hospitalized twice, things started to take a turn for the worse at my job as well, and I was moved to a different position. That move came with a dramatic pay cut, and I've struggled to cover all of my bills as a result. Now, the medical bills from my hospital stays and epilepsy treatments have started to come due, and I can't keep my head above water on my own for much longer. Both my electric bill and car payment are past due because I've been sacrificing those to try to keep up with my rent and pay down my medical bills; however, now I'm on the brink of losing my car and my electricity, so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with both my electric bill and car payment.

I'm trying to focus on finding ways to supplement my income outside of work, but it's going to take time for me to find a second job. I'm worried that I'll fall too far behind before I'm able to do that. Just finding enough to get by from week to week is hard right now, but this assistance would make it a lot easier. I want to thank everyone who helps me keep my lights on and my car on the road. This will give me the stability that I need to get fully back on my feet again, and once I'm able to do that, I will pay the generosity I've been shown forward to someone else in need.
