I would just like to take this time to overwhelming and most humbling show my gratitude of Thankfulness by, kindly telling each and everyone of you that decided to without second guessing to help me, I have been through a lot lately and I did not think that I was going to be able to get through it, but I now see that anything is possible, your contribution and donations will not only be me to be able to stay in my home but will help me to know that there are people out there in this unsure world that still care and will put someone else first and I just cannot say Thank You and appreciate all you have done for me, Lupus has shown its face in my life but it will not be the life of me, Because of you all, I can hold my head up again and I hope to be a Blessing to someone also, I am so grateful and I would not have any of this without you all and I am much obliged, I dont know you but I Love you all❤️. Thank You All

After Going Through a Divorce & Being Diagnosed with Lupus, I Need Help Keeping My Home!

My Story:

I'm a 52-year-old single woman, and I have recently just gone through a difficult divorce. The terms of the divorce have been difficult to deal with, as I have not been granted any spousal support. The real blow came recently though when I was diagnosed with Lupus. It has turned my whole world and my whole life completely upside down, and I'm struggling to get back on my feet.

I have been working at the same job for 8 years, and during that time I've received a raise of $2 an hour, which doesn't even match inflation. While I like my job for that most part, I have to live paycheck to paycheck, and I no longer receive spousal support after my divorce. I was able to make it on my own until I was diagnosed with Lupus. My condition has made it very difficult for me to work because the flare ups are debilitating. On top of that, the medical bills have also been difficult to overcome as well. All of these circumstances have greatly impacted my ability to keep up with my rent, and now, I'm behind on it by about a month. As things stand, I won't be able to catch up on my own to avoid being evicted, so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with a month of my rent.

The stress of this situation has caused my Lupus to get out of control, and I'm doing the best to manage my symptoms, but the stress is impacting me. Having my rent caught up and not having to worry about keeping my home, would do a lot to push my health in the right direction. If I can work on getting treatment and managing my symptoms, I'll be able to work and support myself more consistently. This kind and generous help would allow me to focus on my health without the fear of losing my home hanging over my head, and for that, I would be very grateful. Thank you.
