I've Been In & Out of Work for Over 2 Years, & Even Though I'm Working Again, We Need Help Please!

My Story:

I'm a single mother of two, a 15-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son. My daughter is in high school, and I'm very proud of her because she's excelling in her courses and extracurriculars. Currently, I share custody of my young son with my former partner who I left due to instances where he domestically abused me. It's a difficult arrangement, but I have to be a part of my son's life in any way that I can.

Since my son was born in March of 2019, we've struggled to get by because I was laid-off right after returning from my maternity leave. We were barely getting by with unemployment benefits, and we fell into a lot of debt. That got worse through the pandemic when my employer closed its doors permanently, and then, I left my former partner just as we were starting to rebuild. Being a single mother and dealing with all of our household bills on my own has been difficult, and even though I'm working full-time, I'm not able to keep up with all of our bills. We're behind on our rent, our electric bill, and our phone bill, and we don't have any way of catching up in time to avoid a complete collapse.

I'm very humbly asking for assistance with these three bills because if we can't catch up, we'll lose our home and will have no where to go. Keeping our phones and power on are important but catching up on our rent is my biggest concern. Our landlord is already threatening to evict us if I can't catch up soon. If we can get caught up on these three bills, I'll be able to keep up with everything else going forward. On top of working full-time, I'm attending school part-time, and I'm hopeful that once I get my degree, I can give my son and daughter a better, more stable life. My family would be deeply grateful for this assistance, and I promise that we will never forget the kindness and generosity we're shown. Thank you.
