My Husband Has Been Out of Work Due to Medical Issues & We Need Help Keeping Our Home Please!

My Story:

My wonderful husband and I have been married for 13 years. We enjoy spending time with our children and grandchildren, and I love to cook and do DIY arts and crafts projects with them. My husband and I both still work, and we've been doing our jobs for a long time now. He works as a security guard for a shopping mall and has been doing that for about 9 years, but before that, he was a licensed optician for 20 years. As for myself, I've been working in the medical field for 46 years, and I'm currently working in medical administration for a urology office.

We earn enough to pay for our basic expenses every month, but we tend to live paycheck to paycheck. As a result, we had no savings set aside when my husband was hospitalized with Covid-19, cardiac, and diabetic issues. This impacted our household's financial situation a lot, and he was not able to go to work for a very long time. The medical bills have also been weighing us down quite heavily, and we've been struggling to pay our rent ever since it was raised by about $250 per month. With the medical bills piling up, our rent increasing, and my husband being out of work for an extended period of time, we're struggling to come up with enough to cove our rent this month, and I'm worried we could lose our home. I'm very humbly asking for assistance with our rent so that we don't become homeless before my husband can return to work.

This assistance would get us completely current on our rent just as my husband returns to work, and form there we'll be able to manage our situation more easily. I will be able to find supplemental work soon which will give us a chance to build an emergency savings fund for ourselves so that we will be able to maintain our expenses should something like this occur again. This generous support would have a long lasting impact on our lives, and we would be deeply grateful to all of the kind people who assist us with keeping our home. Thank you.
