I Was Recently Diagnosed with Cancer & need Help Affording the Medical Bills Please!
My Story:
I'm a married man, and my wife and I are both currently out of work. My wife is legally blind and is not able to work because of that, so she collects disability benefits. Currently, I'm also out of work after being diagnosed with stage four cancer. Before my diagnosis, I was working as a truck driver and loved what I was doing.
My diagnosis has been very difficult to deal with both emotionally and financially. My wife and I both receive social security but living on a fixed income makes it difficult for us to handle the medical bills from my cancer treatment. We can get by with our day to day and month to month expenses, but these medical bills are making it really difficult on us, and I'm worried that they could go to collections soon. If that happens, we'll face garnishments that will further deteriorate our already extremely delicate financial situation, and I could even be denied care in the future. Going through chemotherapy is difficult enough, and I'm worried about the toll that worrying about these bills is going to take on me physically. My wife needs me to be strong enough to care for her. So, I'm very humbly asking for assistance with the medical bills from my cancer treatment.
This generous assistance would bring us current on all of these bills, and I'd be able to stay strong in my battle against cancer. going forward, I will never forget the generosity and kindness we're shown, and I will use it as an inspiration to keep pushing ahead for the sake of my family. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering us for this assistance.
