Our Landlord Has Refused to Treat A Bed Bug Infestation, but We Can't Afford to Move & Need Help!

My Story:

My fiance and I have four daughters together, ages 9, 5, 15 and 18 years old. We also live with our family dog, Angel, and our cat, Nova. I'm a pool service manager and manage a six man crew. My fiance, Rebekah, does part-time house cleaning work but is usually home with the kids because I work a lot. Our youngest ones like to play and help cook and help around the house. Our 18 year old just graduated, and the others are doing great in school. We love doing arts and crafts and going on road trips that our kids love to call 'going on adventures.'

About 10 days before Thanksgiving we discovered that we had bed bugs that came from connecting neighbors who have been promised help by management for months. When we asked for help the response from management was it was our responsibility. We know it's not, but we had to do something. So, we spent about $100 on poison and tried to fog them out, but this just scattered them into every room including the kitchen. Then, we started to have a flea infestation due to all of the stray cats that roam around our property, and now we're just at our wits end. We're beyond frustrated with our management who won't even do anything to stop the stray cats. We can't get away from this infestation while living here, so we've decided that we need to move to another lot for our health and safety. However, after all of the money we've spent trying to get rid of this infestation, we can't afford the lot residency that we need in order to move, so I'm very humbly asking for help with that.

We're doing our best to save up enough money to buy a home, and we were getting very close to being able to do that before this situation. Now, it feels like we have to start over and rebuild from the ground up. This extremely generous assistance would allow us to do just that, but most importantly, we could finally be rid of this infestation and live healthily and happily again. For that, we would be very grateful and would like to thank everyone who assists us in advance for your kindness and generosity. We will never forget this.
