I'm About to Give Birth, but I Need Help Keeping My Lights On Please!

My Story:

I'm a single, expecting mother, and I'm looking forward to welcoming my newborn into the world. I'm young, so I'm a little nervous, but I'm also a hard worker, and I know that I have it in me to give my child the best life that I possibly can. Right now, I'm working part-time at a local restaurant, but I was also working a second job prior to the pandemic.

I was working as a nursing assistant, but I was laid-off due to cutbacks resulting from the pandemic. Losing that job kept me on a very tight budget, and then, I contracted COVID. I was out of work for over two weeks, and it's been hard to get back on my feet since then. I'm preparing to give birth, and there are expected and unexpected expenses that come along with that, but in addition to those, I had to get my vehicle fixed as well. I can't afford the repairs and my rent, so I chose to pay my rent because I can't be homeless when my child is born. In fact, my rent is about the only thing that I can afford right now, and the only way I was able to pay that was by forgoing the repairs to my vehicle and my electric bill for this month. I'm humbly asking for assistance with my electric bill because if I stay behind on that, I'll lose my service and will never be able to afford the repairs I need to make to my vehicle.

While I'm waiting to give birth, it feels like I'm stuck between a series of impossible decisions about what bills I can and can't pay. Going without paying one or any of these bills would be difficult to deal with once my daughter is born, so I would feel very relieved and grateful for this assistance. I'll be able to keep my lights on and free up some of my income to get my vehicle repaired as well. Thank you all in advance for this very generous assistance.
