We Have a Son on the Way & Need Help Keeping Our Power on through the Winter!

My Story:

I'm a married mother with three kids at home. My children are all fairly young, and we're expecting another baby boy next year too. My oldest is 13 years old, my middle child is 11 years old, and our youngest is 9 years old. They're all close to each other, and we all enjoy going on outings together and just having fun together as a family in general.

Our hardship really began when I was hospitalized with COVID and pneumonia while pregnant with our son. I was in the hospital for two weeks and am really just thankful that my baby and I are okay. I haven't been able to work since then because I'm on oxygen during the day and night while I recover. More hardship and tragedy followed my stay in the hospital when shortly after I was released, my husband received a call from his father who told my husband that he had been diagnosed with bladder cancer that has spread and is slowly spreading to other areas of his body like his lungs. All of this has been very difficult on my family, and we're stressing while trying to find ways to keep our bills paid up to date while we also prepare for the arrival of our newborn son early next year.

Due to me not being able to work after leaving the hospital, we've fallen behind on our light bill and need assistance before it's shut off. Going without power during the winter would be extremely dangerous for my health and for my family. We're working hard to find some stability so that when our newborn arrives, everything will be ready for him. That's why we're seeking this assistance, and it's also why we would be very grateful for it. Your generosity will make sure that our family doesn't wake up cold on Christmas day, and for that, I want to thank everyone who lends us a hand with this bill.
