After Our Car Was Shot Up, I'm Looking to Work From Home, but I Won't Be Able to without Internet!
My Story:
Our household consists of just my fiance and I. He's the only one who's working right now, and I'm currently trying to find something that I can do from home. I would try to find any job I can get, but we're down to just one vehicle after our car was totaled in a shooting incident. Unfortunately, I still owe a significant amount on the car, so we can't afford to buy another one. Until I can find a work-from-home position, for the time being, the best way for me to help is to stay home and keep the house in order.
My fiance works really hard for us, but he only earns enough to meet our basic expenses, so we're currently living paycheck to paycheck. It seems like the majority of his income goes into our car's gas tank. That's probably partly to do with relatively high gas prices, but we also think there might be a problem with our car. Right now, we can't really afford to have it looked at because we just recently had work done on it to replace wear and tear on the tires and rotors. The cost of those repairs really set us back by quite a bit, and while we're living paycheck to paycheck, that setback means we have to go without paying some of our other bills in order to offset the cost. As a result, we've fallen behind on our internet and phone bills, and we need help catching up please.
Having our internet and phones shut off would be a huge blow to us because it would end my search for a work from home position until we get them turned back on. We're already in a very vulnerable position financially, and I'm worried that if I can't find work soon, our situation will continue to get worse. However, this assistance with these two bills would allow me to keep searching for work, and it would give us some breathing room to get caught up on some of our other bills as well. For that, we would be very humbled and appreciative, and we would like to say 'thank you' to everyone who lends us a hand with these two bills. We promise to pay it forward to another family in need once we're back on our feet.
