If I Can't Get My Car Repaired, I Won't Be Able to Get Treatment for My Autoimmune Disorder!

My Story:

In addition to being a student, I'm also a veteran and a mother. My child currently lives outside of my home though, but I do spend time with them regularly. Right now, I'm attending school and am focused on getting my degree in social work; I have a passion for helping people, so I figured that this would be the best path for me to pursue, and so far, I really love what I'm studying. When I'm not studying for my degree, I like to spend my time reading and writing poetry. It's a great way to improve my writing and creativity while also being able to do something relaxing.

In 2016, I was diagnosed with the autoimmune disorder Lupus, and since then, I have had to manage the symptoms as best as I can. Sometimes that's very difficult for me to do, and the symptoms can be so debilitating that I'm unable to work at all. It also means that I have to see a doctor on a regular basis in order to manage my symptoms effectively. The costs of those appointments, as well as my inability to work as of late, have me struggling to meet my bills head on month to month. However, the most pressing concern for me right now is my car.

My only means of transportation just broke down, and I don't have any way to repair it while also being able to keep up with all of my bills. Without my car, I can't get to and from school or my doctor's appointments, and I'm worried that my grades and my health will suffer as a result. If I'm forced to pull out of school right now, I'm worried that I'll never be able to return due to the cost; my dreams of becoming a social worker would be crushed. Beyond that, I'm worried about the toll that missing doctor's appointments would have on my health. For those two reasons, I'm humbly asking for assistance with affording these car repairs. Your generosity would get me out of a very difficult situation, and I promise that I will never forget it. Thank you in advance for this assistance, and I promise to do my best to pay I forward.
