After Being Diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, We Need Help Keeping Our Only Vehicle Please!

My Story:

I'm a married mother, and my husband and I have three terrific kids at home. Our oldest son is 10 years old and is a leukemia survivor. He's a very brave child, and he loves to read and play soccer. Our middle child is 9 years old, and she's just so remarkably full of life. She's creative and funny, and she can light up a room! Our baby is 5 years old and loves kindergarten, his dog named Lulu, and playing with friends. He also has a seemingly endless amount of energy. My husband is a wonderful person, and he works hard at his job as a full-time logistics coordinator. Currently, I'm not working due to having been diagnosed with advanced stage cancer.

I was recently diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. It's hard for me to talk about, but needless to say, I have a long road and a difficult battle with this cancer ahead of me. Since my diagnosis and the medical bills associated with it, our bills and unexpected expenses have really started to pile up. That's mainly been due to the fact that we live in an older home, so things in it have started to break down. In the past few months, we've had to replace the lid on the septic tank, replace our hot water heater, and replace the dehumidifier for our very damp basement. After paying for these repairs, replacements, and the medical bills for my cancer treatment, we're having a hard time keeping up with our bills and have fallen behind on our car payment and electric bill.

I'm not in any position to head back to work soon, so we don't have any way of catching up on these two bills. For that reason, I'm humbly asking for assistance with these two bills so that we don't lose our vehicle or our power, and so that we have the chance to catch up on other expenses as well. Having breathing room at a time like this would be huge for me and my family, and it would allow me to focus on my battle with cancer. We would be so grateful for the generosity and kindness we're shown regarding assistance with these bills, and I want to promise to pay it forward when we're able to.
