I Was Out of Work for Two Weeks & Need Help Keeping Our Water On Please!
My Story:
I'm a single mother of two amazing kids, and we live with our rambunctious cat, Dymond. My son loves to play football and plays as a center and defensive tackle in little league currently. My daughter loves dance, and she is obsessed with Tik Tok. Both of my kids are my entire world, and I fight hard to give them good lives.
I currently work in a warehouse as an essential worker, and I'm also doing an IT specialist program as well. The program introduces you to companies hiring for their tech departments at the end, so I'm hoping to land a job in IT at the end of my program. When I land a job, God willing, it would put us in a much more stable position financially speaking. Right now, we're struggle to remain stable because I had to miss two weeks of work after a Covid-19 outbreak, and our rent was also raised after our lease wasn't renewed. We can't afford to move right now, so I've been trying to keep up with the rent, but that's meant that I can't keep up with our water bill. We're past due on that bill, and I'm worried we're going to have our water shut-off if we miss another payment or if we can't come up with the total we owe soon. Between missing work and trying to balance our increased rent, we need urgent help with this water bill, so I'm humbly seeking assistance.
I'm hoping to complete my IT certification and to find a job in that field soon, but until then, we need help if we're going to keep our water on without falling behind elsewhere. This generous assistance would also free up some more of my income to go towards our rent as well, and we'll be able to keep all of our bills balanced until I can find a new job. We would be so grateful for this assistance, and I want to thank everyone who helps us in advance.
