This person has left the following thank you note:

User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeI am truly grateful for all the wonderful people across the world that made time out to donate me and my family, in order for us to keep our truck. I was surprised and full of joy when I found out that we had been fully funded. We have so much joy that words cannot fully express just how we are feeling. This will help us to continue to provide for our family, with transportation to get to work and back home again. You just don't know that this has come at the right time, and will now get us fully caught up. It amazes me that there are still wonderful and caring people out in the world. I wish all that did take the time to help our family peace and blessing. I know that this will be a blessing that will be returned back to those 10 times that were given to my family. May God see over all that is in need and over the ones with the big heart. My family and I would like to thank all that donated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Unexpected Expenses Have Left Us Struggling to Pay for Our Only Vehicle! Please Help.

My Story:

My husband and I have been married for 32 years, and together, we have three children, two sons and a daughter. We've also been blessed with five wonderful grandchildren who are as sweet as can be. Our two sons have mental health issues that keep us on our feet, but they always manage to get by, nonetheless. Since birth, one of our sons has also had to deal with medical issues, but he's learned to manage his symptoms for the most part. Our daughter has been doing her best to hold onto her job through the pandemic, but she needs our help with our granddaughter, so we've been taking care of our 8-year-old granddaughter for the past few months.

My husband and I both still work to pay the bills. I work with disabled adults and do client care work for them, and my husband contracts as a Field Supervisor at a lawn care service company. I also do part-time working answering calls for a gym when I have the time. We typically earn enough to take care of our bills from month to month, but we do tend to live pretty strictly paycheck to paycheck, making unexpected expenses hard to deal with sometimes. Normally we can handle minor ones, but we recently had a major unexpected expense come up in the form of our fridge going out. We've had to try to get enough together for a new refrigerator, but on top of that, we lost a whole two weeks' worth of groceries when ours stopped working. As a result of this short-term hardship, we've fallen behind on some of our most vital bills, specifically our car payment. We can't afford to lose our only vehicle because it would mean losing our jobs as well.

This has been a harrowing experience for my family, and I'm worried about the effect this is having on my granddaughter. She asked me 'how are we going to eat if we can't buy food' and 'why don't we have a refrigerator if they know we need one?' She may not be old enough to fully understand what's going on, but she's very observant and intelligent, and it really breaks my heart to know that she's aware of all of the hardship we're going through right now. She's too young to have to go through something like this, and that's why I've made the decision to ask for help. I know that we need to find a way out of this for her sake, so I'm humbly asking for help with our car payment. Your generous assistance would get us back on track, and it would be such a huge relief to my family at a time where we really need it. For that, I want to end this by saying 'thank you' to all of the people who consider us for this assistance.
