I'm a Single Mom Who Just Lost Work to COVID Again! Please Help Us Keep Our Home!
My Story:
I'm a single mother with three children at home. My oldest is 11 years old, and I also have two twin boys who are 9 years old. All my kids love wrestling and going to the beach in our free time. My daughter loves to draw and to sing, and my two twins won't admit it, but they're absolutely inseparable. I do my best to give my children a good and stable life, but I just recently lost my job due to cutbacks from the pandemic, so things have gotten a lot more difficult for us financially speaking as of late.
We're used to living paycheck to paycheck as it is, so without any work or anything coming in it's been difficult for my family to get by. I was unemployed for a long time last year, so I was relieved to have found a job and then devastated to have lost it so suddenly. However, I'm trying to keep my hopes and spirits up because in Hawaii, you can't survive times like this unless you get the ball rolling again fast. I already have three job interviews lined up for this week, and I'm confident that at least one of them will pan out. In the meantime, we don't have any way of being able to make our rent for this month, and we'll be kicked out of our home if we're late, so I'm humbly seeking assistance with that payment.
As a single mother, the responsibility to provide for my family falls solely on me, and we don't have any other family to turn to right now. That has me really worried because if we lose our home, then we'll have nowhere to go and no way to get back on our feet again. With this help, I know we'll be able to get back to where we were before Covid-19 in no time. I have faith that one of these interviews will pan out and that I'll be able to get back to handling all of our bills again. Until then, we would be very grateful to receive this extremely generous assistance with our rent. Thank you in advance for showing us kindness and compassion in our time of need.
