I would love to thank the many that donated to my family and I. It will defiantly impact us immensely and keep us afloat as we where living pay check to pay check. The help you have donated has kept us hopeful and we cant thank you enough. This help will help us catch up on some bills, and also give us just the small but big break we needed to alleviate our stress and anxiety levels. The pandemic definitely affected us immensely and all we have been trying to do lately, is catch up. With your help you have gave us the opportunity to catch up and keep pushing especially right now during the holidays where bills continue. You guys have helped to continue my sons ABA, OT, and Speech therapies as well and that means more to me than anything. The help also made us see that there is still hope out there for many more families like ours. It has taught me that there is still good humans out in every community. I Have to Stay Home With My Special Needs Son & Can't Work! Please Help Us Keep Our Power On.
My Story:
I'm a mother of a soon-to-be 4-year-old boy. He's my entire world, and my partner and I do everything we can to care for him. He was just diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and ADHD during the pandemic. It's been difficult since then, but we've gotten him into therapy which has helped a lot.
We're facing a lot of hardship right now because I lost my job, and I haven't been able to work because I have to stay home to care for my son. I'm searching for a job that will give me hours consistent with the schedule my son is on so that I can continue to care for him. Thankfully, my partner has been able to keep his job as an essential worker at an ice company. We've managed to keep up with our rent because he's still working, but we're having a hard time with all of our other smaller bills now that I'm out of work for the time being. Right now, we're behind on our car insurance, our cell phone, and our electric bills, all of which are extremely vital to us, and we need help catching up on them.
Losing service on any one of these bills would have a domino effect on our small family because it would put an end to my job search, make it difficult for my partner to keep his job, and it would make it hard for my son to remain in the therapy programs that he needs to develop properly. So, getting this help would have a tremendous, long-lasting impact on my family. It will buy me some more time to find work, and it will give us some much needed breathing room as we work to accommodate my son better. Thank you all for this generous support and assistance in advance, and I promise to never forget to pay your kindness forward.
