I'm Battling Cancer & Need Help Affording Treatment Please!
My Story:
I'm a single mother, and I raised my 28-year-old daughter all on my own. I work two jobs to make ends meet, and I've been doing that for as long as I can remember now. I work both full-time and part-time, and even though it's hard work, I like to stay busy and don't really have another option. When I'm not working, I like to spend time with my daughter and relax with a nice cup of hot coffee.
Working two jobs just to pay for rent and essentials has honestly taken a pretty big toll on my body. I struggle with a myriad of health issues already, but I was recently diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I've already begun treatment, and sure enough, my medical bills have started to pile up as well. I haven't been able to work as much due to the cancer, and I'm having a really hard time keeping up with my bills as it is, let alone with the added costs of my treatment. I'm really worried about having any of these bills hit collections because it could lead to my credit being destroyed, my wages being garnished, or even me being denied care when I need it for cancer treatments. I've been making as many small payments as I can, but I desperately need help if I'm going to be able to make sure this bill stays out of collections.
Getting assistance with this medical bill will be a huge step forward in my battle against cancer. I'll be able to keep moving forward without the fear of losing care at a time where I need it most. For that, I want to say thank you to all of the people who lend me a hand in my struggle against cancer. I will never forget the kindness and generosity I've been shown.
