I'm a Senior Who Needs Help Moving After My Roommate Moved Out!

My Story:

I'm a senior living on my own after my roommate moved out and left me with their expenses to pay on my own. I have two dogs that I live with, and I love and cherish them. I love to spend time with them, and I'm so thankful to have them around right now. I live on a fixed income, so interruptions or increases to my expenses have a really pronounced effect on my situation.

This past month, my roommate abruptly decided to move out, and my expense have gone through the roof as a result. I live on a fixed income, and I can't work, so I don't have any way to keep up with my expenses now. I decided that my only option was to move into a new place where I could more easily afford my monthly bills. However, I've run into a new problem now, and I can't afford to move with just my fixed income. I'm going to be evicted unless I can find a way to get into a new apartment, so I'm humbly asking for assistance with the cost of moving so that I don't become homeless.

This situation has put me in a difficult place, but I know that I'll be alright if I can get help with the moving expenses. I think I can find another place that's affordable enough for me to live on my own, but in the meantime, I'm worried about just getting out in time to avoid having to pay double what my rent normally is, or even before I'm evicted. Your assistance would make sure that I don't become homeless in the time that I'm searching for a new home, and for that, I want to thank you. Thank you for giving me the hope that I need to move forward, and I promise to do my best to repay your kindness and generosity when I can.
