Let me start-off by saying that my definition of a modern day true hero is someone or a group of people who genuinely care, support (just not monetary) and give whole heartedly to the nurturing of an individuals well-being. We all fall on hard times in life and it�s nice to know help is out there, so don�t be afraid or ashamed to ask for it because every kind gesture puts people back on their feet, which contributes to self-sufficiency and emotional healing. Since July 29, 2021, I have been driving a damaged vehicle due to a car accident that was NOT my fault and I�m so thankful nobody was seriously injured because moments like these can remind a person how precious life is and that everyone has a purposeful contribution in this world. This donation relieves a lot of my financial stress, so thank-you from my family and I appreciate the respectful manner in which I was treated from Modest Needs Donors. Now, I will have a safer vehicle to drive back and forth to work especially during the cold winter months here in Wisconsin. Also, the donation helps me stabilize my future, so I can be a MOM to 4 adult children who desperately need my support. In conclusion, May God bless you to keep helping others like me. A Car Accident Has Me Struggling to Get By! Please Help Me Get My Car Fixed!
My Story:
I am a divorced mother of four beautiful children. They're all grown-p, self-sufficient, and are very successful in life. I'm incredibly proud of them, and I take a lot of pride in being their mother. I have two cats and a significant other who all keep me very busy! My two jobs also keep me very busy, and right now, I'm working as a delivery driver and as a substitute teacher for the local school district. Beyond my jobs, I have a lot of hobbies, and most recently, I've taken up landscape and architectural photography.
The cause of my current financial situation is two-fold. First, despite working two jobs, I still live paycheck to paycheck like a lot of people. That makes it difficult to deal with emergencies. Secondly, I was in a car accident that nearly totaled my vehicle. In July, I was going through a traffic light when a woman on her cell phone ran the red light and hit my car. She's been ruled as at fault, but the insurance claim process is lengthy, and I'm not sure my insurance will cover all of the damages to my vehicle. Right now, I'm struggling to cover the cost of the repairs, and I desperately need to get my car back on the road so that I can get to and from work more easily.
With this generous assistance, I'll be able to get my car back on the road without the fear of falling behind on my other bills hanging over me. Accidents like this happen, and they can really have long-lasting negative effects on low-income workers like myself, so I would be incredibly thankful to all of the people who help me avoid those negative effects. I will never forget the generosity and kindness I'm shown.
