I Have to Repair My Car to Get Back to Work, but I'll Lose My Home Before That!

My Story:

I'm a single woman living on my own and doing my best to make my way in the world. I would characterize myself as having an outgoing personality and a genuine love for all people. The pandemic has been hard on me as an extroverted person, so I'm glad to see things start to get back to normal again. However, I have been struggling lately because the pandemic has forced me into working odd jobs to get by.

Right now, my primary source of income is through doing DoorDash deliveries, but I haven't been able to do that since my car's transmission went out. Without my car, I don't have any income coming in, and I'm really struggling as a result. I'm trying to get my transmission fixed as soon as possible, but if I pay to get my vehicle fixed, I won't have enough to make rent for this month and could end up losing my home.

Without the eviction moratorium in place, I'm terrified that I could end up losing my home if I can't make my rent at the end of the month. So, I'm humbly asking for help with my rent for this upcoming month. Not only will this assistance keep me safe in my home, it will also allow me to get my car fixed so that I can get back to working again. Once I can get back to earning a stable income, I'll be able to keep myself self-sufficient. I plan on building up a savings account to try to deal with things like this in the future, but in the meantime, I would be so grateful to receive help with getting out of this situation where I'm facing imminent homelessness. Thank you all for your generosity and kindness.
