COVID Hit While I Was Still Reeling from the Loss of My Daughter. Now, I Need Help with My Rent!
My Story:
I'm a young adult, and in the past few years, I have faced many difficult trials and tribulations. Covid-19 has been the most recent trial that I've faced, and it's put me into a very difficult situation because I've been laid-off a second time due to cutbacks at my employer. Before that, I've been recovering from the loss of my daughter, which has left me locked in a constant battle with feelings of depression.
Now, I'm on the verge of homelessness after my unemployment benefits have ended and after I've lost my job for a second time. I'm in desperate need of assistance with my rent because I won't have anywhere to go but the streets if I'm evicted. I have a matter of weeks left to catch up on my rent again.
I'm humbly asking for help with my rent so that I can get back on track with my finances again, and so that I can continue to fight hard and honor my daughter's memory. I'm doing my best to overcome these feelings of anxiety and depression that I've felt in the wake of losing her, and I'm actively seeking treatment. However, if I lose my home, I'm afraid that journey will come to an end and will leave me feeling worse than I ever have. Your help will get me clear of an eviction, and for that I would be forever grateful. Thank you in advance for your generosity and kindness.
