Our Car Was Stolen & It's Got Us Behind on Rent! Please Help Us Keep Our Home!

My Story:

I am the mother of two amazingly beautiful human beings, Kane & Kali. The amount of strength, courage, devotion and dedication to surviving as a whole, as a family, that I've witnessed these two kids display in the last year has me feeling like the luckiest mother on Earth. They are my heart; they are my rock; they are my world.

Living paycheck to paycheck the last year was not as hard as I imagined it to be. We actually found ourselves giving more, sharing more with others who needed it compared to how much we gave and shared with others when we were a little more financially stable. Hardship can be a beautiful thing, if you draw meaning from it, I think. Hardship can be a blessing in disguise, if you let it. However, I'm still trying to find this 'beautiful blessing' in having my vehicle stolen, but I'm not going to give up. To clarify, my family was recently the victim of grand theft auto, and we've lost our only vehicle as a result.

I would be so very thankful for any assistance with our rent. We've been struggling a lot financially as a result of losing work to COVID and our car as well. Any help with our rent would allow me to put towards buying a dependable car that won't require much work/repairs. This way, I'll also be able to get back to working full-time too, and I won't have to rely on others for rides and miss shifts when I can't get one. I have a huge fear of falling further into debt if I can't find a dependable car, and I'm worried that we could eventually be forced to move if I can't pull us up and get back on track with our bills.

This assistance would be our saving grace, a true blessing, and an answer to our prayers. It would put us back on track to becoming financially stable again and back in the position of being able to help and give back to others in their time of needs. Thank you all for your compassion and consideration in our time of need. We will never forget this.
