Being Home Through COVID Caused Our Utilities to Increase & We Need Help Paying Them Please!
My Story:
I'm a mother of four, and my children are all between the ages of 12 years old and 6 months old. One of my children has autism and requires special attention educationally. With my children all being home and doing virtual school through the pandemic, it's been very difficult to get by. I was also furloughed due to the pandemic for several months, and that caused us to fall behind on some of our bills.
Our utilities have gone through the roof with everyone home during the day, and so it's been difficult to catch up on our bills with those increased costs hanging over us. I also have to be home with my son more often because he is going through virtual school and requires more of my attention because he's autistic. On top of that, last year someone hit my truck, and I had to get it repaired which has also been weighing on us financially. I'm really worried about being able to make our car payment and utility payment for the month, so I'm humbly requesting help with those two bills.
It's been a long, difficult year for us, and we really need help to get back on track with everything. I'm back to working, and my children are heading back to school relatively soon so things should stabilize for us when that happens. However, it's going to be difficult for us to make it until then on our own. This assistance would get us to the other side of the pandemic, and from there, I'll be able to make sure my family has everything we need to get by. Thank you all for your generosity and kindness in advance.
