I Nearly Lost My Life to COVID, & Now I Could Lose My Home!

My Story:

I'm a 53-year-old single man, and I live on my own and support myself. I'm employed, and I work hard to make a living, but last year I got sick with Covid-19 and was hospitalized. Ultimately, I was in the hospital for four months, and I nearly lost my life to the virus. It was a scary time for me, and it's taken everything in me to try to recover both physically and financially.

Overcoming COVID was incredibly difficult, and it almost took my life. Now, I'm facing an even more difficult struggle because I've been out of work for months. I've never been out of work for that long, and I've always been a dependable employee. Despite that, I'm now finding myself in a very significant hole, and I need help to climb out. After battling COVID, I'm now battling eviction. I need urgent help with my rent if I'm going to make it out of this without losing my home.

I'm holding on to hope that my doctor will release me and allow me to return to work soon so that I can get back to making a living for myself. I'm really scared that before that happens, I'll be forced out of my home. The eviction moratorium will expire soon, and I'll almost certainly face eviction proceedings if I'm not caught up by then. I know that this isn't going to be a long ordeal, but I would be extremely thankful for assistance with keeping my home. Thank you all so much in advance for your generosity and kindness.
