COVID & A Surgery are Getting in the Way of Our Move, & I Need Help with a Bill to Make it Happen!
My Story:
I'm a single mom to four amazing little girls. My oldest is 14 years old, and she's helpful, creative, and kind above all else. My next oldest is 9 years old and is very sassy but capable and loving in her own way. My youngest two are twins and are 8 years old. Despite sharing a birthday, they are basically polar opposites in terms of personality. The other day one of them revealed to me that they wanted to be a doctor so that she can help everyone in the world, and the other told me that she wanted to be unicorn because the world needs more magic. Like I said, all they share is a birthday! Being their mother is the greatest privilege I have ever been granted.
I work hard to make sure they always have everything they need, and I do that by teaching piano lessons and working as a rideshare driver. Covid-19 has really put a dent in the revenue I make from teaching piano lessons, and it's definitely going to take a long time to rebuild my client base. I've been earning most of my income through ridesharing, but that can be very unpredictable. I've also been out of work for several weeks due to some surgery I needed to have done. This all has virtually wiped out the savings that I had been building up in order to move my family out of state. There's very little work for me in the place we currently live, so I'm trying to move us somewhere where there's more opportunities for me to earn a stable income.
The surgery and the loss of my income from my piano lessons has really put a dent in that goal, and I need help with a monthly bill if I'm going to free up enough to be able to take care of our moving expenses. That's why I'm asking for help with our utility bill. Getting that bill taken care of will free up enough for us to go through with this move, thereby giving me a better opportunity to work and provide for my children. For that reason, I would be very thankful to everyone who is able to help us with this expense.
