I Recently Had Surgery & Need Help Paying for My Mortgage & Electricity Please!

My Story:

I'm a recently single man, and I'm living on my own for the first time in a while. My ex recently left to move to Texas and join the military. We had built up a stable financial situation together and were doing well to be able to take care of all of our bills. Since she left, I've had a very difficult time managing all of my bills on just one income.

However, the real disaster came when I had to have surgery and my insurance didn't cover it. I'm stuck with all of the medical costs from that surgery, and those have really begun to weigh me down. My day pretty much starts now with me having to call the electric company to beg for an extension, and my day to day life is really starting to weigh me down. I'm behind on my electric bill and am extremely close to having it shut off, but I'm also very close to having my house enter forbearance. For those two reasons, I'm asking for help with my electric bill and with my mortgage.

I've taken care of my medical bills and am adjusting to my situation after my ex left, and with this help, I know that I can get back on track. I'll be able to avoid a shut-off, and I'll be able to keep my home. Genuinely, I couldn't be more grateful for this assistance, and I want to do my best to pay it forward to someone else in need when I can. I have a hard time of asking for assistance, but this situation has made it clear that I can't always do everything on my own. It's important to help others when you can, and I want to be able to help someone when I can. Thank you all for your consideration and kindness and for just taking time to read my story.
