I'm Finally Heading Back to Work, but I Need Help Catching Up Still Please!

My Story:

I'm a single mother with an amazing child at home, and I work hard to provide for them no matter what. I'm finally getting back to work after COVID, but it's only going to be one day per week for a while. As a server, it's difficult to make enough from just working one day per week, especially because most of my income comes from tips. On top of that, I'm already starting out behind on some of my bills, and I'm worried that I'll lose my service on some of them before I'm able to get back to work full-time.

With just minimal shifts available, it's difficult to keep up with all of my bills, let alone get caught up on the ones I'm already behind on. I'm confident that my shifts will return to normal as our town begins to open up more and more, but I really need help in the meantime if we're going to make it. Specifically, I'm asking for assistance with our gas and electric bills because they're months past due, and we're in danger of having both shut-off at the same time which would be catastrophic for us.

Thankfully, our landlord has been understanding in terms of allowing us to have a payment plan with our rent, so we aren't in danger of losing our home; however, if we lose our gas and electricity, our home might as well be unlivable. That's why we would be so grateful for this help with keeping our utility services on, and it will truly keep us going until my shifts can return to normal again. We will never forget your kindness and support, and I will do my best to pay it forward when we're able.
