After Going Through a Divorce & COVID, We Need Help Keeping Our Car Please!
My Story:
I'm a single, recently divorced mother of two, one boy and one girl. We currently live with my mother and grandmother, and as much as we love spending time together, there just isn't enough space for all of us. I've been trying my best to find an affordable place for my two kids and I, but there isn't really anything available for us right now. Going through this divorce has been difficult on me and my kids, but I know we're on the right track towards finding a way forward.
I work as a dental assistant for a pediatric dental specialist, and we typically work very long hours; however, Covid-19 really caused our hours to shift, and I ended up losing hours as a result. Now that my hours have been reduced, our income has been a lot less stable, and with that and my recent divorce, it's made it difficult to stay on top of all of our bills. Currently, I'm working towards getting our own place, but while I'm behind on our other bills, it'll be impossible to move. That's why I'm asking for help with our car payment and phone bill.
With those two bills taken care of we'll be able to keep our car and internet service, and we'll be a huge step closer to securing our own home. We're really looking forward to finally beginning a new chapter in our lives, and we would never forget the people who helped us open that new page. My children will finally have a stable home, and we'll be able to take care of ourselves going forward. Hopefully, we will be able to find the means to pay your generosity forward to another family in need. On behalf of my children and me, I want to say 'thank you' to everyone who helps us.
