I'm on Maternity Leave for the Rest of the Month & Need Help Keeping Our Home Please!
My Story:
I'm currently on maternity leave after giving birth to a beautiful baby boy! I'm excited to be a mother, but I know that the task ahead of me will be difficult. Right now, I'm parenting as a single mother because my son's father is in the armed forces and is stationed in Korea currently. His father has been deployed for a while and wasn't here to support me during the pregnancy which was difficult, but I have been able to manage until now.
Now that I'm on maternity leave, I haven't been able to work for about a month and am worried about being able to keep up with all of my bills. I don't return to work until June, but by then, I'll have almost certainly fallen behind on several of my bills. My biggest concern right now is being able to keep up with my rent because the last thing I need right now after giving birth to my son is to be forced out onto the streets or into a shelter. I can't even fathom the thought of my baby and I being homeless, so I'm humbly asking for help with our rent until I can return to work from my maternity leave.
Once I'm back to work, I'll have no problem taking care of us, even if his father remains deployed or just absent in general. This extremely generous assistance would get me through my maternity leave without the threat of homelessness looming over us. I'll be able to focus on taking care of my son, finding him the best childcare available to us, and all of the other little things that go into caring for an infant. I can't even begin to thank everyone who lends us a hand, and I promise will know this story by heart as a he grows up. I want him to be able to think back on this time as one where people came together to help us both in our time of need so that he remembers to always be as charitable and compassionate as the people who help us now.
